Local, family-owned for 65 years, STRUCTURAL STEEL BUSINESS, is now poised for the future with a 3rd generation new part-Owner.
IAN HART officially acquired part ownership and management of this local, family-owned business. Current owner DAN HOWARD is looking forward to the continuation, expansion and growth of his steel business.
Originally from Sacramento, Ian comes to Capitol Iron Works with a strong construction background and firsthand knowledge and experience as a businessman. Ian owned, managed and ran businesses such as equipment rentals and vertically integrated distribution networks in Northern California.
Capitol Iron Works, serving the greater Sacramento region for over 65 years out of their prime location on Power Inn Road, has made new investments in state-of-the-art equipment, machinery and computer and communication systems. The goal is to streamline the jobs in a faster and more efficient manner, keep the timeline accurate and maintain a close and trusting relationship with their clients. In addition, the search for new talent to join the management team is being actively pursued.
Focusing on structural steel projects as well as miscellaneous steel and metal jobs Capitol Iron Works works closely with contractors and local and regional construction companies. Longtime President STEVE HARTZELL is and has been the point man for contacts and bids.
They are ready and eager to re-introduce their organization to their loyal business partners as well as meeting new people in the business and show how they can improve your projects.
